Mission Statement

One day, there was a young attorney who found himself in the midst of the Great Financial crisis where many people were losing their homes to foreclosure. This attorney lived in Florida, ground zero for so many clients who were in trouble. This young attorney helped save many of his clients' homes by defending their foreclosures, but he could not save all of them. He wanted to get better at protecting his clients' greatest asset, their homes, so he started reading about better ways to help them. He came upon a blog at livinglies.me written by Neil Garfield, another Florida attorney.

He learned a lot from Neil Garfield just by reading what he wrote, but he wanted more. He wanted to meet Neil. So, he set out one day to do just that, and they met and eventually became very good friends. They shared stories of successes and failures, the injustice they saw in courtrooms all over the nation. This young attorney learned so much from Neil, and Neil loved the young attorney and taught him well. Then one day, Neil told the young attorney he was dying. The young attorney was shocked and saddened by what Neil told him, but what he said next changed everything.

Neil Garfield told the young attorney that he wanted his legacy and work to live on so that more people could save their homes from foreclosure. Neil wanted the young attorney to take over his practice after he died. Neil was very wise, and he knew he only had another year to prepare the young attorney for what was to come, so they worked together constantly over the next year so that everything Neil knew about how to save homes for people all across the nation could be passed on to the young attorney. And then Neil died. It was a sad day, but now Neil’s passion and pursuit to help his clients lives on in that attorney, whose name is Lance Denha esq.
